What is therapy?
Therapy is a collaborative process that involves both the therapist and the individual working together to identify and address challenges. Through this process, individuals can develop new skills and coping mechanisms to navigate difficult situations, manage emotions, and improve relationships.
How do I schedule an appointment?
To make an appointment, please email us at hello@therapygardenva.com or fill out a Contact Us form, and we will contact you within 48 business hours.
With sessions being tele-health, where am I required to be during the time services are rendered?
Due to licensing requirements, clients must be in the state of Virginia at the time of session.
How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Per the policy, cancellations and reschedules must be done 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. Please contact your therapist for any schedule changes. Late cancellations and no-shows fees are $110. Insurance does not cover this fee.
How much are your therapy sessions?
$110 per individual session and $150 for couples sessions. Couples sessions are self-pay only
What are your payment options?
We accept Self-pay and Commercial Plans for: United Healthcare, Cigna, Evernorth, Optum, and Anthem. Medicaid is not accepted at this time
How often should I attend sessions?
It is recommended to start with weekly sessions, but the frequency can be adjusted based on needs and preferences.
